You have questions, we have answers.

Few specialize in only NBA and primarily vintage basketball cards, so that gives us an edge to start with. We also make the shopping experience easy with our best-in-class website. Our PSA graded cards and Beckett graded cards have competitive prices as well. Let us know if you find something you like and think it’s too high. We will always listen and would love to find a way to make it work for you. Though we supply grade 60s, 70s, 90s, and newer cards, what sets us apart further is our unique collection of 80s basketball cards, all meticulously graded for quality. We’re not just any card shop; we’re Triple Double Sports Cards, your go-to source for rare and graded sports cards.

Both PSA (PSA graded cards) and BGS (Beckett graded cards) use a 10-point grading scale to evaluate a card’s condition, but there are some differences. While the grades range from “Mint 9” to “Poor 1,” with half-point markers for near-mint cards (8.5), PSA doesn’t issue a 9.5 grade as BGS does. BGS calls those cards “Gem Mint 9.5,” which PSA uses for their grade 10 cards. BGS issues grade 10 ratings less frequently, which they call “Pristine 10,” and typically has a much higher value.

Both companies take centering, corner wear, surface wear, print quality, and overall eye appeal into consideration when grading sports cards. The main difference between the grading processes is that PSA uses a point system to determine a card’s grade, while BGS uses a more subjective approach. PSA also uses a proprietary machine to measure the centering of a card, while BGS relies on human judgment. This can result in different grades for the same card, especially among vintage basketball cards. Importantly, BGS includes category sub-scores. Centering, Edges, Corners, and Surfaces all get their grade on the metallic-colored label. This level of detail can delight collectors keen on acquiring vintage basketball cards with BBCE graded cards and other meticulous grading info.

At Triple Double Sports Cards, we accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and can also facilitate wire transfers upon request. We aim to make your experience purchasing vintage basketball cards and PSA graded cards as seamless as possible.
